MINDBODY CENTERING + SINGING BOWLS :: Sundays, 9-10:30am @ Global Breath Studio ::
'Centering' is a concept used to describe the process of gathering a potter's clay at the center of the wheel so that the clay does not get thrown out into the spinning world. This is exactly what happens to human beings when they live in a busy world that can fragment and 'stress' the strength of the vessel. This specialized class is supported by the powerful resonances of sacred crystal & Tibetan bowls, to awaken different aspects of the body each week. Yoga techniques of breath, Asana (as an integrating body Mudra), Nada Yoga & Mantra strengthen and revitalize the MindBody, releasing tension and imbalanced patterns. Whether you are a seasoned yogi, recovering from an injury or surgery, or have recently decided it's time to bump the self-care routine up a notch, this class will be highly restorative & supportive. MindBody Centering curative techniques deliberately awaken deep aspects offered within the Yoga Arts and Sciences. Limit 20 persons. Class tends to fill up, so make sure to arrive by 8:45 am to secure yourself a spot.
YIN SUPER STRETCH :: MONDAYS, 5:30-6:30pm @ Global Breath Studio ::
Yin Yoga supports balance for a busy life, melting tension and stress in the body and mind.Yin Yoga releases blocked energy that can cause fatigue, frustration and extreme mental states like anxiety and agitation. Yin Yoga allows everyone to relax into the elastic nature of muscle, connective tissue and the organs. By staying in poses for 3-5 minutes, space is created for deep healing and rejuvenation.This class is a beneficial experience for everyone!
YOGA FOR TRANSFORMING TRAUMA :: MONDAYS, 7:00-9:00pm @ Global Breath Studio :: *closed series*
During this series, we will explore and build individualized personal practices to support the congruence and integration of your Self and the life you are creating. This slow, step-by-step process is subtle. It is held in a gentle and focused manner in order to allow the innate unfolding into homeostasis that all of us have seeded at the center of our beings. Please note that these are closed series, meaning that registration and attendance for the entirety of the series is required (no drop-ins). For more information on this series, please see below.
MINDFUL YOGA BASICS :: THURSDAYS, 12:15-1:15pm @ Global Breath Studio ::
Take a break in the middle of your (work) day for some gentle stretchy MindBody Centering Yoga. Cue your innate ability to unwind stress with breathing and moving. We will calm the mind, gently work out the kinks, build the heart rate, release stress in the low back and stretch out those bunched up places that we chronically sink into during our workday.
YOGA FOR STILLNESS :: THURSDAYS, 5:30-6:30PM @ Global Breath Studio ::
The most challenging part of our Yoga practice is ‘Nirodha,' or creating stillness. The breath and the body are always present in the here and now, but the mind is in a constant state of agitation. This makes it possible to access the stillness of the mind through the body. In this all-levels class, we move very slowly through a handful of basic Asanas using props, spending time in familiar postures (like pigeon and forward fold) and several restorative postures. A blend of Yin Yoga & Restorative Yoga, this class will offer you the opportunity to witness the settling of the mind while the body relaxes and unwinds. This class is perfect for anyone and everyone!

In this series we will explore:
- Knowing feelings of joy, well-being and peace in the midst of change.
- Reducing feeling separate, through MBCY FEEL techniques.
- Relaxing into experiencing body awareness.
- Understanding awareness of breath.
- Growing capacity for energy awareness.
- Developing skills to reduce reactivity to: Negative body sensations and stress - Negative feelings & emotions - Negative beliefs, images and memories.
